Friend Vacation 2010!

Hey all,

We should plan out our friend vacation now. Here is an idea: Pavement is headlining the Pitchfork Music Festival on Sunday July 18th in Chicago. Maybe we could hit the midwest midwest for friend vaca and see the concert and do various other midwestern things. Any thoughts? If we want to do this we should act fast as I don't know when the concert will sell out. Otherwise, let's brainstorm something else to do.

SPRING BREAK!!!

hey everyone,

So spring break approacheth. Mine is march 8-12 (i guess 6-14 including surrounding weekends).

I have never been to a Cavs game and would really like to go. Here are the games I am able to attend:

Friday March 5 vs Detroit 7pm(Tickets start at $38..I guess because its gonna be on espn and all)

Monday March 8 vs San Antonio 7pm(Tickets start at $15..I think I want to go to this one)

Sunday March 14 vs Boston 330pm(Tickets start at $55...yikes).


OK...so what do you guys think? Mike, when exactly will you be in town? everyone else (I wonder who still reads this), when are your breaks? People who have "jobs"...sorry.

Miracle Berries

Hey guys,

So I did this on Saturday. If you're not clicking on the link, its about these things called miracle berries which basically make everything taste kind of sweet for about an hour. It was pretty cool. Citrus fruits are the best in my opinion. Hot sauce tasted good...it brought out the flavor without being all burny. Some people only felt really mild effects, but on the plus side, it was only $3 for the berry, so it wasn't a huge hit to the wallet.

Also...I hung out with THS on Friday and drank cheap Belgian beer. People should visit us here in Pittsburgh and we can all do this together!

Greg Oden is a (Norse) God amongst Men

I really enjoy Greg Oden. While he hasn't done much in the NBA, due to the proclivity his limbs have to shatter, he was a fun site on campus at OSU. I always got a kick seeing him wander around, particularly since you could spot him from over a block away. I hope to name a pet in his honor.

Why should I like Greg Oden more than a Darko Milicic, Blake Griffin, or some other draft bust?
