Bike to Work Week!

Every year, Columbus has a fine "Bike to Work Week." This year it actually lasts about 10 days, and one day the bikers will get a cool police escort down High St. from the Gateway to the Statehouse. I believe the Mayor and the Director of the Columbus Metropolitan Library will be cruising down.

All this is very neat, and it's cool to join and say you'll make an effort to bike to work. However, the reason it is blog worthy is a fun little fact of a certain member of this blog (not me) is the paragon of Columbus bicycling. Mr. Gallagher is looking particularly regal to boot!

Helmets: Your brain is important.

Just for discussion. People who bike and don't wear helmets, why not?
